Free Registration of Corporate Email Address Approved

A law has been approved allowing the free and more efficient registration of a corporate email address, without the need for a public deed, facilitating its use as an official means of notification. Additionally, deadlines are established for companies to comply with this requirement.

Bill on Taxpayer Protection and Repeal of Taxes

A bill has been introduced in Costa Rica aimed at simplifying the tax system, making it more efficient and competitive, through reforms to the Tax Code and the elimination of several low-yield taxes. It is currently only a proposal and is not in force.
